Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket EULE. Mrs. Bernice Eule of East Brunswick died Sept. 11, 2007, at Care One, East Brunswick. She was 86. Born in Newark, Mrs. Eule lived in Union before moving to East Brunswick 13 years ago. She owned and operated Star Hardware and Paint Supply Company, Newark, for more than 30 years. After selling Star Hardware, she worked for Kemper Insurance, Summit, for 10 years before retiring in 1990. Her husband, George, died in 1966. Mrs. Eule is survived by her son, Gerald of Garden Grove, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Mark Sachs of East Brunswick; two grandchildren, Jodi Sachs and her husband, Eric Burkhardt, and Jeffrey Sachs and his wife, Marla; and a great-grandson, Ryan Burkhardt. Interment at King Solomon Cemetery, Clifton. Arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket GREENSPAN. Mr. Daniel Greenspan of Monroe died Sept. 23, 2007, at home. He was 91. Born in Manhattan, Mr. Greenspan lived in Ocean before moving to Monroe 21 years ago. He was a supervising court reporter for the State of New Jersey in Freehold prior to retiring. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the Knights of Pythias and the New Jersey Jazz Society. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred Light Greenspan; a brother, Moe; and sisters, Helen and Anne. Mr. Greenspan is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Ariella of Northborough, Mass.; grandchildren, Jillian and Naomi; sister-in-law, Edith Light; brother-in-law, Harold Light, and his wife, Ina; three nieces; and three nephews. Interment at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus. Arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket MOSKOWITZ. Mr. Louis Moskowitz died Sept. 18, 2007, in CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. He was 84. Born in Brooklyn, Mr. Moskowitz lived in Brighton Beach, N.Y., before moving to Monroe 20 years ago. He was a beverage distributor for 25 years before retiring. He was a decorated Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, serving as staff sergeant in the 669th Bomb Squadron in the European Theater. He received the Distinguished Unit Badge and the European-AfricanMiddle Eastern Service Medal. He was past commander of the Clearbrook American Legion. He participated in the National World War II Memorial Project in Washington, D.C., and his war experience was recorded at the Smithsonian Museum. He was a member of the Jewish Congregation of Clearbrook, Monroe, and of the Battleground-Adelphia Knights of Pythias Lodge. He also participated in the Cribbage Club, the Billiard Club and the Senior Citizen Club, all at Clearbrook. Mr. Moskowitz is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sylvia Miller Moskowitz; son, Dr. Marc Moskowitz of Atlanta, Ga.; daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Mark Steinberg of Brooklyn; brother, Sam Moskowitz of Florida; and grandchildren, Daniella Steinberg and Paul and Lauren Moskowitz. Interment at Floral Park Cemetery, South Brunswick. Arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket ROSEN. Mrs. Susan M. Scherer Rosen died Sept. 17, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. She was 47. ?? Born in Brooklyn, Mrs. Rosen lived in Matawan before moving to East Brunswick 23 years ago. She attended Rutgers University, where she received a degree in special Education. She was a schoolteacher for the South Brunswick board of education for eight years. Mrs. Rosen is survived by her husband of 25 years, Gary; son, Jeffrey; daughter, Amanda; brother, William Scherer and his wife, Lynn, of Manalapan; and many nieces and nephews. Interment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketWEIN. Mrs. Edythe Wein of Somerset died June 14, 2007, at Regency Heritage Nursing Home, Somerset. She was 86. Born in the Bronx, Mrs. Wein lived in Cranbury for five years before moving to Somerset six years ago. She was a school aid at the Truman High School in the Bronx for more than 20 years before retiring in 1987. Mrs. Wein is survived by her children, Steven and Jill Wein and Mona and Steve Barr, all of Manalapan; grandchildren, Matthew and Jennifer Barr; and brother, Ralph Zimmer of Cranbury. Interment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Arrangements by Bloomfeld-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket WOLKOFF. Mr. Myron Wolkoff, formerly of Scranton, Pa., died Sept. 16, 2007, in Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. Born in Uniontown, Mr. Wolkoff was the son of the late Louis and Anna Rubinow Wolkoff, and moved to Scranton with his family at the age of nine. He graduated from Scranton Central High School and continued on to the University of Scranton, a great achievement, as he was the first in his family to receive a college education. At the time of his death, Myron was one of the oldest living alumni of the university. Shortly after World War II began, he married Esther Bernstein and almost immediately began serving as the youngest Red Cross field director in the European Theater of Operations. Upon his return, he entered the world of business, establishing and serving as president of Scranton Processing Company and Scranton Hide and Skin. He became active in civic affairs, serving as president of the Scranton Rotary Club and chairman of the Rotary Clubs International Student Exchange Program. Myron then entered public service and was elected to the Scranton City Council, where he served first as chairman of the Finance Committee and then as president of the Council. Myron later founded and served as president of the taxpayer watchdog organizations, Citizens Concerned about Taxes (C.C.A.T.), where he was involved in several successful lawsuits to stop government fiscal irresponsibility. In addition, he was active in the YMHA, where he served as a lifeguard and swimming instructor. He was longtime member of Temple Israel, where he celebrated his Bar Mitzvah at age 60. His life was one of exemplary character, devotion to duty, civic responsibility and courage, as well as profound love for his family. Myron's wife, the former Esther Bernstein, died in 2000. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Sidney, Abe, David, Samuel and Myla. Mr. Wolkoff is survived by his daughter, Dr. Regina (Ginny) Wolkoff of Allentown; son, Rabbi Robert L. Wolkoff of North Brunswick; brother, Dr. A. Stark Wolkoff of Kansas City, Mo.; and grandchildren, Sarah Wolkoff Kehoe, Tess Wolkoff Kehoe, Ethan Wolkoff, Joseph Wolkoff and Dahlia Orli Wolkoff; and many nieces and nephews. At the time of his death, Mr. Wolkoff was living in Reidsville, Ga., with his beloved companion, Jean Kenosky. Interment at Dalton Jewish Cemetery, Dalton, Pa. Arrangements by Ziman Funeral Home Inc., Scranton, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
