Torahs For Our Troops will give our community a glimpse into the lives of Jews in the U.S. Armed Forces and learn how their needs are met. RADM Harold L. Robinson USN Ret, Director of JWB Jewish Chaplains Council will share stories and reflections of Jewish life in the military and answer questions like “How do you keep kosher in the U.S. Armed Forces?” and “How do you celebrate Shabbat or observe Passover?”At this event, participants will also be able to join in and help write a Torah in order to provide Jewish servicemen and women with small, lightweight Sifrei Torahs (Torah scrolls).
